The BSc tourism programme consists of two parts; a major of 150 ECTS and a free choice of 30 ECTS. The free choice or minor is an interesting extension of your study profile. It provides you with the chance to deepen your knowledge and competencies within a specific scientific field.

Wageningen University offers a wide range of pre-composed BSc Minors. You also have the opportunity to take a minor, or to follow courses, at other universities in the Netherlands. If you want to use the free choice space to study abroad, there are possibilities through our exchange programmes. Wageningen University and NHTV Breda have a network of partner universities that spans the globe.

The table below shows the Minors taken by 3rd year BSc Tourism students since 2012 and the Master studies pursued by BSc Tourism Alumni since 2013.
