This paper examines the differences in climate change risk perceptions between tour operators' employees and the KLIMARISKSCAN assessment tool. Interviews revealed a major mismatch, with employees recognizing only six out of eighteen identified risks and rejecting others due to confidence, business size, adaptation strategies, and lack of responsibility. Additionally, employees identified two new risks based on prior experiences, highlighting gaps in standardized risk assessments.
